Our Values

  • We follow up with our members about their experience following each activity and event. If they leave negative comments, we strive to fix those problems.
  • We always ask if there is anything else our members need help with to show them that we are always there for them.
  • Honesty – We will always be honest with our members which builds trust in our relationship.
  • Empathy – By putting ourselves in someone’s situation” we are able to help them. If a member is in trouble, then we as a group don’t just walk away. We sympathize with their situation and go that extra mile to help them try to find a solution. Even if we are not able to find a solution, sometimes just being there says a lot.
  • Trust – By being empathetic to our member’s needs and being genuine and honest with how they can benefit from our services we earn our member’s trust.

Our Story

Our CEO Miss Jeannette was inspired to create “Seniors Enjoying Life” at the age of 74 after experiencing mental health and physical health issues resulting from anxiety and depression. Through loneliness, isolation and no active social life she slowly began to develop the following symptoms:

  • problems sleeping
  • high stress levels
  • constant worrying
  • trouble feeling positive emotions
  • feeling hopeless or giving up
  • constant headaches & pain
  • anger & irritability

What inspired miss Jeannette to start this business?

Jeannette knew that in order to heal she had to surround herself with social activities. However, she was afraid to join dating sites, afraid to attend meet up groups with strangers, afraid to meet strangers for fear they would take advantage of her because of her age, and she needed more than a senior center could offer. The birth of “Seniors Enjoying Life” social club where all members are vetted.
